The study made by the Medical School of Hannover in Germany has confirmed the effectivity of the therapy discovered a decade ago by a Puerto Rican doctor Michael Gonzalez Guzman and doctor Jorge Miranda Massari.
Time has proven them right. A study made by the Medical School of Hannover in Germany has confirmed the veracity of a revolutionary alternative treatment to palliate cancer, developed by two specialists Puerto Rican specialists. The same was discovered a decade ago, who since then impulse a not toxic anticancer therapy, that consists on administering high doses of Vitamin C on a intravenous way.
“ We are very happy with this German study, because it was done to people”, affirmed on interview with The South Pearl the Puerto Rican investigator. “This reinforces what we have been saying for the past ten years”.
“A lot of people have used the therapy with vitamin C with the conventional therapy and have done great. Many times what it does is it protects the healthy cells”. Continued González Guzmán.
“We are very happy with this German study, because it was done to people”, affirmed on interview with The South Pearl the Puerto Rican investigator.
Even though the effectivity of this alternative has not been accepted by all in the medical community, in 2005 the National Institute of Health (NIH, by its name in English) highlighted the benefits of treating cancer patients with high doses of vitamin C.
“There are people that say that this has not been proved one hundred percent and that is true, but they are non toxic therapies, will not hurt you and can give you a benefit. The sick person today cannot wait 20 years for something already approved to use it”, he continued.
“We fully trust on this therapy. We cannot assure that the patient will be cured, that the tumour will reduce (size), but we have seen an improvement in the quality of life in all the people to whom intravenous vitamin C has been applied” explained.
On its origins, the duet accomplished the findings under the group RECNAC II from the medical Sciences Laboratory in the University of Puerto Rico, entity that researches and procures to teach cancer cases through non toxic methods. Since then, these Puerto Rican thesis is evaluated by entities linked to Medicine in the whole world.
“I do not earn a cent with Vitamin C. I have been accused of chatting on people, but we don’t cheat on anybody. My mother, my grandmother and my grandfather died from cancer and for me it’s something personal”, he added.
González Guzmán affirmed that now that RECNAC II has centred in the creation of a protocol that serves as a guide for patients with cancer and that includes changes in diet, in connection with intravenous treatment with vitamin C.
Cradle of great inputs
Lastly, the Puerto Rican expressed with optimism that the confirmation of his thesis will serve to remember the citizens about the important scientific work made everyday in the island, between doctors and patio scientists.
“No one is a prophet on its land, but we have to learn to appreciate our own talents”, said doctor González Guzmán.
“Doctor Carlos Ricart (member of RECNAC) and I are from Ponce and sometimes people think that being from a small island we cannot accomplish big things, but this is not true. Here in Puerto Rico we have the talent to do big things he concluded”.
